Indefinite Articles (ein, eine, ein)

When do I use "kein" (no/not a)? How does it decline?

"Kein" is the negation of "ein" (indefinite article) and also negates nouns without an article. It declines exactly like "ein" but adds the "k-" prefix.

Example

Ich habe ein Auto. → Ich habe kein Auto. (Accusative neuter)

Das ist eine Katze. → Das ist keine Katze. (Nominative feminine)

Ich habe Geld. → Ich habe kein Geld. (Negates noun without article)
